Set in the 1950s, a waitress, Ember Fiera, is setting up a diner for the morning shift when her military husband, Cliff Jensen, unexpectedly enters. Ember is overjoyed and astonished to observe him, running into his arms. It's revealed that Cliff has came back home from engaged duty, so he thought he'd surprise her. Ember is certainly astonished and appreciative, and offers to make him breakfast. But Cliff cheekily admits that he's thirsty for something else at the moment... and Ember is happy to spoil him.
